JIMMY HERRITY

Jimmy Herrity is a south coast songwriter known for his emotionally charged blend of lo-fi folk and ambient post-rock, drawing comparisons to artists like The National, Bon Iver, and Death Cab for Cutie. After stepping back from music in the wake of his brother's death in 2019, Jimmy returned to the live circuit in 2023 with renewed focus, playing the Isle of Wight Festival and selling out headline shows at The Joiners in Southampton and The Hope & Ruin in Brighton.

His recent singles Lost Boys and Maybe I'm Not have garnered support from BBC Introducing, EARMILK, and Atwood Magazine, with Mystic Sons describing him as "one of the more exciting names on the rise." His performances are marked by a serious intensity softened with offbeat humour, often rooted in themes of grief, recovery, and the strange beauty of survival
