"Emerging from Southampton’s vibrant music scene, Stone Branches have managed to carve a niche with their compelling and authentic sound."

Formed in Southampton by close friends, Matt Bialas (vocals), Nick Burton (guitar), Ollie Hickson (guitar) the band began with a mutual appreciation for artists such as Palace, Coldplay, Foals and Radiohead. Later joined by Holly Barnett (drums) and Ashley French (bass) the group went on to release their debut EP ‘Mantra’ in December of 2022, receiving airplay on BBC Introducing.

The groups' recent single releases, 'The Way Out' and ‘React’ received glowing receptions and would quickly gain recognition both locally and nationally, seeing the group's return to a BBC Introducing feature.

Their intricately crafted guitar melodies, stand out vocal hooks and captivating performance elevated the band through to the grand finals of the ‘Isle Of Wight – New Blood Competition’ against 5000 + entrants, where they were personally selected to win the ‘wild card’ prize by award winning London producer Dax Liniere.

Following a SOLD OUT debut Headline show, Stone Branches returned to Southampton for their second Homecoming headline at the renowned venue, Papillon in April, 2024.

Stone Branches' latest EP release, 'Live at The Ranch', allowed the band to capture their hallmark live sonority, giving rise to their most recent accolade of a live musical exhibition with Sofar Sounds.
