"You could possibly pitch her somewhere between St Vincent and Prince" John Kennedy (Radio X)

Since first emerging in 2013 with the acclaimed ‘All We Can’ EP, Yumi And The Weather have spent the past few years perfecting their unique blend of electrifying technicolour psych-pop and have recently unleashed their eagerly-awaited full length self- titled album, via front woman Ruby Taylor’s own MIOHMI Records imprint.

Armed with this new arsenal of unrelentingly catchy and stirring pieces of music, Yumi are ready to continue their path of destruction which has included a stint supporting British Sea Power, slots at Green Man, Shambala, Nozstock, Bad Pond Festival and more; and heavy radio support from BBC 6Music’s Shaun Keaveny, Nemone, Lauren Laverne, Guy Garvey, Don Letts, Chris Hawkins, and Radio X’s John Kennedy plus live sessions for BBC Introducing and Radio X.

"It's cracking that, isn't it!" - Shaun Keaveny (BBC 6Music)

Blending influences of Electronica, indie rock, and 80s synth-wave, Drusila are a duo that demonstrates an ability to create music to dance to as well as something reminiscent of the ‘Drive’ Soundtrack.
Having only formed at the beginning of 2018, they have established themselves as one of the most impressive live acts to come out of Portsmouth. Their live performances are theatrically mesmerising and they plan to take their show to new territory in the near future. Their new single ‘Confusion’ gives a good taste of what is to come for this exciting new duo.
